The Answer Is Now Born!

The Fourth Sunday of Advent symbolizes Love.

The Lord brings the light of love to his people by sending His only Son to earth for our salvation.

The most significant tradition of the Advent season is the Advent Wreath.  The wreath and candles are full of symbolism tied to the Christmas season. The wreath itself, which is made of various evergreens, signifies continuous life. The circle of the wreath, which has no beginning or end, symbolizes the eternity of God, the immortality of the soul, and the everlasting life we find in Christ.

The miracle of Christmas is that God is gracious. His grace extends His love and we are changed. Jesus has come and we celebrate His coming. We celebrate His love that is rich, abundant, and unconditional. We celebrate full hearts that overflow with beauty in the simple everyday moments of life. And we celebrate the amazing grace that gives the most amazing gift.

Christmas is not just a day celebrated, but a life given. Jesus is the life and He brings ten thousand graces that cannot be measured.

May the love of God be full and overflowing as you celebrate Jesus!

1 John 4:9 (ESV)

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him.
