Weddings
One of the purposes of a Wedding is to provide a ceremony of spoken promises. It is a union between two people who commit to each other under a solemn and sacramental act in the presence of God. It is abundant with symbols that reflect the basic and important elements of marriage: Love, Mutual Respect, Equality and Sacrifice.
We welcome other denominations or ethnicities For more information, contact our office 510-44-6162.
Baptisms
Baptism is one of the sacraments recognized by the Christian Faith. The other one is Holy Communion. Baptism is a Christian rite of admission and adoption, almost universally with the use of water, into Christianity. It may be performed by sprinkling or pouring water on the head, or by immersing in water either partially or completely. Baptism is seen as being a basis for Christian ecumenism. Baptism is also called christening, although some reserve the word “christening for the baptism of infants.
